Finally I have organised myself to start doing personal makeup workshops again this year! Wedding season and moving house kicked my butt so I am finally prepared to start them again.
The next session will take place on Saturday June 11 from 12pm-5pm in Maylands. Each attendee receives a workbook, gift, glass of champagne AND access to my many industry discounts.
These workshops were a great success last year and I can’t wait to meet a new group of people 🙂
It’s really important to note that I am not affiliated with any brand so I will show you products that I personally use on myself and in my professional kit.
I understand that walking into the beauty sections in Myer or David Jones can be so overwhelming when you don’t know which brands are best, what products you actually need and all the while feeling the sense that the sales person on each counter really doesn’t care; they just want to make the sale. Don’t even get me started on online beauty and makeup shopping!
The idea behind these workshops is to teach ladies the basic makeup techniques to create beautiful, flawless looks on themselves. I want to share with you my knowledge and give you the tools to take care of your skin while looking your best!
Some of the topics we cover are:
– My favourite makeup brushes and tools and how to use them
– Basic skin care for all skin types – dry, sensitive, oily, oily, combination and mature.
– Primer
– Different techniques and tools to apply foundation, concealer / corrector and powder
– Contour, Highlighting and strobing
– Bronzer
– Blush
– Lipstick and gloss
– Eye brows
– Eye shadow
– Mascara
– Eye liner for all eye shapes (including cat eye)
– Applying false eyelashes
